Now, I'm sure some of you may be wondering why this webpage hasn't been updated in over a year. Well, the truth is, I moved to Japan after I graduated from University. I didn't lose interest in Basara. I currently teach English in Nagoya. Unfortunatly for people who are interested in this webpage - when I moved to Japan I left my computer and scanner behind. While I have a computer again (a really nice laptop) my hard copy of this webpage is on my computer at home or on two Mac zip discs (the image gallery takes a lot of space) that I can't use since I have a PC. Plus, I still don't have an Internet connection and have to use Internet cafes to connect to the Internet. Have I learned Japanese? Not really. My job keeps me so busy I can't attend any of the Japanese classes that I've found.

With that said, I do have some thing new to put up. I've had these for a while and have finally decided to put them up. So visit the translations page for translations of volume 14 - chapters 1, 2 and 3. I apoligize to the translator Cass. Really, I didn't forget. :\

There are nice things about living in Japan. I've managed to accumlate a ton of manga that I've always wanted but could never afford - here I can find copies of older series for about a doller each. Then there's the massive quantity of easily available doujinshi. I'm busy collecting Harry Potter doujinshi at the moment (I have over 250 now). I do have several Basara doujinshi (okay, eight) including four Basaran doujinshi by Yumi Tamura herself. If I ever get a scanner, I'll put up scans of the covers. Plus, I have a job so I can afford to buy other cool toys (like an MD player). There are also crappy things but I won't go into those here...

I guess if you want more information on my life in Japan, head over to my blog Raging Egomaniac. I manage to post every few days (or at least once a week).

Added scans for manga volumes 8-19. Whoo hoo! Only 8 more volumes left to scan.

Added a button to the miscellaneous page for people to use as a link.

Added the LD scans to the anime image gallery. See, I told you I was doing massive updating. ;) This site takes up almost 100 MB at the moment, and I stil have eight more manga volumes left to scan.

Massive updates. I have an entirely new layout which I'm rather proud of and consider my best yet, although I still wish I could have come up with a layout that didn't require frames...but that's another story.

I've added scans from manga volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as finished scanning volume 15 (I've scanned through 18 but need to do the html for it.). There are also a bunch of fun superdeformed images that I scanned. On the Miscellaneous page I put up the fanart that's been submitted as well as some desktop wallpapers and winamp skins that people kindly allowed me to include. There's also a character quiz which will supposedly tell you which Basara character you're most like. There's a mini section about me and a guestbook that isn't working yet, so don't try and sign it ;).

See, I said I was still working on this webpage.

This is just a quick note to let people know, yes, I am still working on this webpage. It got busy towards the end of last semester so I didn't have time to play. But I actually have a class this semester on website design so I'm going to use this page as my project. Hopefully by the end I'll have a much better layout than the one I'm using currently.
